Anyway to me, got inner wording doesn't look nice on a Sports watch.

I even cal up AD n check. She told me NO inner wording on subbie leh.

Fyi, i have check already. There isn't any 'rolex chapter ring' aka the words rolex engraved on the inner case circumference on my M series Sea-Dweller n Subbie. confirm only Explorer II, DJ has it.

Hmm...maybe it's juz urs that doesn't have leh...I saw pics and some people with the new sub hav it leh

M series has the 'rolex chapter ring' aka the words rolex engraved on the inner case circumference, ie the area between the dial and sapphire crystal. the rolex serial number is engraved @ the 6o'clock position

the last batch of Z series has the rolex chapter ring. however, the earlier batches do not have.

this is why M series is preferred. new design, anti-counterfeit measures.

I agree with you, probably my sincerity did not moved him enough for a discount although the staff at HG Lucky Plaza was very helpful and courteous.

Being helpful and courteous is something they have to do la...it's part of their job. Maybe you never seduce the SA enough..haha

been reading up rolex threads about the M series and Z series. And many prefer the M series. What's the significant difference?

Am looking to own my very first Rolex and like to find out more from aficionados here. Thks
