    It's on the steel shell, on the external circumference wall surfaces.
    I do rinse it after the swims, but only realise the spots when I was cleaning the watch in the evening, when I examine it closely as I polish with the special cloth.

    after swimming in the sea or pool, it is advisable to rinse it under the tap.

    Thanks.

    I swam with my sub twice recently and realised that there were some spots, which were quite stubborn, and came off only after some persistent effort in washing.

    Have been using my timex at the pool instead ever since just in case...

    if the chlorine doesnt leave any spots on your body then it will not affect your watch....

    got a question, do you guys wear your sub when you swim in the pool?
    I know it's a dive watch, but does the chlorine cause damage to the surface, like leave spots or something?

    it is common for buyers of new watches to do this, however, the first scratch is always painful. after few more scratches, u wun really mind.

    OH...these days I am wearing my Exp II everyday..but no worries,juz b alittle more careful its ok. At most bring go polish abit...muz enjoy ur watch mah
