  • Thank you. Very amateurish effort ;-)

    Yup. Glad I pulled the trigger on the SD. Was agonizing between Sub and SD for a couple of weeks once I'd the budget. What tipped the decision was the 'rarer' SD especially if production going to stop and the heftier look.

      am gonna pull the trigger very soon for a pro series rolex but can't decide between a sub or sd, or to bite the bullet and get the GMT ceramic..

      any advice on which piece would hold value better, looks etc..

      • no one can say for sure which piece will hold value better. most sports models does not depreciate tat much.

        check out the garage section if there are sub still going for 6k plus. it is a good deal

        SD has been discontinued and thus may shot up in price.

        GMT IIc is currently still selling above premium. if u can get it for 9500 currently it will be a good price. however, will there be more discount offered in future?

          sub's bout 8k plus sd closer to 9k.. GMT prices quite crazy now and you're right - will there be more discount in future for GMT?

          so if i can get my hands on a brand new sd for 8.5k, you guys think it's a good deal?

              Comes in 2 versions, the Submariner with date and without date. Both have the exact same functions execpt that one has a date function. With a special oyster case with shoulders that protects the triplock winding crown.

              There is also a 50th Anniversary Submariner model that is available with the exact same functions as the Submariner date but in a green coloured bezel.

              The Seadweller waterproof up to 4000ft/1220m and comes with a graduated, rotatable bezel for checking decompression time-spans.                           Yest i just went to rolex center to have my chian adjustment but found out the my wrist is too small. After taken out 2 slot its still quite loose anysuggestion how to go abt it?.
                          Also i saw the selling price for that watch is $7444.
                          SG is selling far more expensive than other countries.

                            If it's still loose then bring it back to Rolex Centre? but well i doubt u will DIY on your new watch so. Best to bring back. haha

                                I think he means they removed one of the fixed (non-removeable) links as the bracelet was still too short after removing all the removeable links.
