For the longest time I love the TT Blue Sub. only got date version, no choice.

Finally sized and ready to wear (been in the safe since Mar 2012)!

it's because james bond that time was looking for a watch and Rolex declined to supply one for free, so james bond bo pian had to borrow from co-producer Cubby Broccoli, which was a sub 6538 (ND)....

Don't forget that the original Sub was without date. Sub Date came later.
Rolex does not call it Sub No-date. It is either "Sub" or "Sub date". LOL .

Both are nice but I am no fan of the cyclops although I can live with it

Here is a pic taken this morning by the window to use for my blog. Just to share the balanced beauty of the Sub and reassure I made the right choice.

Poor attempt at a lume shot although managed to capture some of the Blue.

frankly you can't go wrong with either. As someone mentioned b4, it is personal preference.

Both watches are beautiful but if i have to choose it's the Submariner No Date for me... its the classic dive watch IMHO, i guess thats why the first submariner was made without the date.

Yah I knew that..too lazy to type it in so just generically say James Bond wore the ND..haha!

I bought a Sub ND a year ago. Like the clean look. Depends on individual's preference. No right or wrong choice.

Had both watches in my hand for 15 mins..in the end.........BOTH ALSO DIDN'T BUY! Couldn't decide on the spot..now looking at pics and overseas forums..they seem to like the ND more as it's the original Sub..even James Bond wore the Sub ND though it's a vintage model..I think I may go for the ND real soon..most of my watches have date but I realised I never depended on my watch to tell dates..I'm pretty good with my head for that..

always prefer something clean and simple, ND is my choice, cyclops is just too "high profile" for me

Rolex without the cyclops eye does not look like a Rolex to me so I prefer with date as it is more iconic
