                  Admirable collection, r4gs.

Just curious - do you send your vintage watches to RSC for servicing, or elsewhere?

Any special care you give to those watches that you can share with us?

Interesting 'texture' on your dial. Do you have a pic of your dial with more detail?

Thank you for your compliment. I go to an independent watchmaker to service my vintage rollies. I would never entrust RSC Singapore (maybe RSC Geneva, RSC London and RSC San Fran are the only ones I may entrust with vintage). IMO, they cannot even reliably authenticate vintage rollie, let alone preserve and service them with the same level of detail and passion a collector has.

No special care other than occasionally rinsing them under a tap with some kirei kirei foaming hand soap. My pieces live in a watch box with silica gel packets to absorb the moisture and locked away in a cool, dark place. I also leave the crowns screwed in and do not put any watches on a winder.

Here's a group shot and some more yummy sunset pics:

Thanks for sharing your experience and the excellent pictures. Many of your vintage watches look to be in pristine condition yet nicely aged. You are a real collectors

There's some spotting appearing on the dial, hard to capture the details.

Some lovely pieces you have there, George.

The pepsi will be more precious now that it is only produced in WG
