the other day i read in chinese newspaper, that EU countries petrol kiosk is starting to charge for using cash , CC is preferred over cash

ang mo country wnt cashless... USA like to use cc and cheque nia...hee.. cos country big, go bank deposit troublesome, also kanna rob

if u carry like couple of thousand, i think if ang mo police ever stop u, think u drug pusher/ runner or some illegal trade 1... hahhaa


in sg, carrying 1 or 2k ard very common.... even 20, 30k, also got ppl carry, not very surprising...

For me i guess the reason for using credit cards are:

1) No tips required in restaurant. Imagine you have paid service charge for your bill in cash already and they always seem to give you back your all your change in coins expecting you to leave it there.

2) Further discount.

3) Points accumulation. Can always claim stuffs after some major expenditure.

4) Deferred payment, of course.

yeah 1-2k is very common...that time i read the newspaper,this policeman carries 3k in his wallet more than his pay which is about 2k+ per month. But of course...who in the right mind would rob a policeman?

1k and below = $50 notes
10k and below = $50/$100 notes
20k-50k = $1000 notes
ABOVE THAT = $10000 notes

no choice, banks kick me out for opening a bank a/c since i am a foreigner, you think they wanna give me a CC? Just use cash, pure, simple and very efficient.
