Local AD .
Easier to get from PI or overseas. Warranty is international so dont worry about it.

depends right? i mean 312 is still selling at a premiun by PIs at above list.

If local AD have stock, why not get from them instead since list is still considered cheaper?

I did sell some PI selling below list price.
Ever saw $9500 which I thought is a very good deal.

There's another thread in the Panerai sub-forum containing a list of places to get after-market straps. It's quite a comprehensive list.

I've personally gotten straps from The Watch Boys. Quite bang for the buck IMO.

Not thinking of selling my watches at the moment. Can always buy new original straps to replace later if I want to.
