If I were u I will just go JW for verification. Just spend 100 for a piece of mind. U already spend few k for a watch liao. Wats another 100 btw. If u buying from reputable shop still nt so bad,if from freelance seller den theres a risk.
Moreover verification does nt does on authenticity of e watch only, it also tell u if e watch is running fast or slow n pressure test of ur watch.see if e watch is wrking properly.

But winding it and touching it will be able to tell? Especially the CG. Anyway best to buy from Barry as they have a shop front.

just a word of caution. the latest replicas are really really well made. even with close inspection it is very difficult to spot the difference.

The feel of the original PAM is just different compare to Homage ones. Everything is so defined and sleek.

Firstly which model you prefer first ?
Without authentication, my 2 cents is
Edsonchan and barryvip is safer bet as one is old timer and with service receipt,
the other is dealer who sells frequently.
In the end if not comfortable, still better to spend 100 bucks to cure.

I think it is not right for myself to comment which one you should go after.. It looks to me they are all legit. The rest you have to make the decision.

yo yo pegasi, thanks. i was thinking the velvet cloth, the polish cloth, the texture of the box, the screwdriver, everything about Panerai is so well made and refined, just like an Italian suit, close attention to detail. Even the Italian cars use horse as logo because they are simply no horse run about these Italian brands (incl. Alpha Romeo 159,....steam.. LOL) i am deviating.. sheesh...

Agree...even the smell when you open up the wooden box, is kinda uniqueOriginally posted by Paneraii View Post...it is very very very extremely duper obvious if you own one Panerai before.
Also agree, hehe...Originally posted by Paneraii View Post...just my experience and views, it doesn't mean anything because $ is yours.

O I C. Mr edsonchan has long been a member here and I believe he has sales references you can read up on. As for the other one, he/she is a little new to me. See if any other member(s) here can guide you along better.

It might be difficult if you have no experience nor own a Panerai previously. Because the booklets, papers and box can also be faked but it is very very very extremely duper obvious if you own one Panerai before.
There should have a stamp on the warranty card if Local ADs,
The ones serviced by richemont, even easier, because the BB number Case number Serial number should be listed on the service paper
just my experience and views, it doesn't mean anything because $ is yours.

Experience does not necessary mean you have to own one before. You can go touch and feel the watch (or similar models) at some AD or preowned dealer. My very first PAM, or in fact all the PAMs I bought over the forum, were without authentication.Originally posted by alpha4 View Posti see. I have no experience with Pam , this would be my first piece.
But judging from what you said, maybe you should go for authentication, somehow.
