I like sandwich dial Glad to hear from many of u who think otherwise from the comment I received on Pam 111. That person whom I know self proclaimed to be one who collects vintage PAMs. To me, if u really love watches, whether it is entry level model or not, it really doesn't matter. What's important is that you appreciate their designs and workmanship.

On the other hand, some say 372 though 47mm doesn't wear very big and wear better than 312 due to it's thinner, so don't like base on case size.
I really love 372 for its clean design, sandwich dial and the dirty brown look but size wise, it's way too huge on my tiny wrist. Need to try out 392 one of these days...

Why bother with such remarks? Most important is when you put on the watch and it puts a smile to your face whenever you are wearing it. If you put on a top of the line super limited edition model but you don like it, then its pointless isnt it?

Love the uncluttered look of the base models. Itching to get a 000 now. Argh, the Pam bug has bitten hard.

I have to agree with the guys here, the base modelas are the smartest. No doubt, it's not in-house movement, but it's less complicated & clean. I have owned 111, 112, 90 & 359 over the years & honestly, the first two gave me the most joy. It looks good under a work shirt & just as at home in jeans & boots. So why dont you give one of the base models a try & if you dont like it, sell it cheap cheap to me! Merry Xmas!

Base models are easier for maintenance. Appearance wise it is classic looking. Wear what you like and you can afford. enjoy.
