wow.....i was so tempted to purchase a full gold president for its solid look and feel. but i guess for younger class users, its better to choose a two tone date just as it project an image of youth and class. but of course, if you are in your 40s to 50s, by all means get a full gold.. yumss

Yeah, I got my DD 18238 last month when I turned 51, no wrist time yet for this lovely piece. Uncle loves gold, I think!

14k yellow gold and 18k yelow gold Rolex watches are nice! My favourite in fact... When meeting ppl higher status or position then me will take out... Try to be humble in front of them...

In Singapore, there are so many rich people and so few choppers I mean robbers the last reported case of a hand being chopped off because of a gold Rolex was back in 1963.... so no worries.

just to share some personal views on Gold Rollies:-

1) I like both the Sports models (luv my 116718 18K GMT) and Presidents but personally
the President is more comfortable for daily wear. On days when i am so busy with work a
big 18K GMT will start to feel heavier and in the way when you are rushing reports, emails,in between meetings
but a President ...it wont bother you at all, just the right weight, nice & comfortable on the wrists.

2)IMO try to wear your gold watches only when you are dressed up, comon they are dress watches in the first place.
don't wear t-shirt, shorts and slippers and wear a gold watch, you make yourself and the watch look bad!

Ooops, i almost "rough wear" my 116718 and 18238....they go with everything.
Occasionally even washing my car when i'm lazy to remove.

Doesn't apply for big boss hehehe
