Oceanklassik, you are right that pam owners go for the overall look of the watch with its size. You are also right that it may not be nice to have a 44mm ExpI and also right that I can't compare ExpI with Pam.
In fact, Pam was a hit only about 6-7 years ago and it is considered very recent when you look at Pam's history. I personally think Pam was a hit is mainly due to its SIZE (and also you mentioned, its look [with its size *again*] also). Big watch was a big hit recently and hence Pam came into the pic. I still remember 6 years ago when I got my 1st PAM, 44mm was a wait long long model and on the other hand, 40mm is available everywhere.
So my thought for ExpI is to increase its case size so as to improve its "look" and demand at this moment...
hmmm exp1 increase size to say 44..then become big pilot watch.
