  • Just scored this SD from a fellow SGROC bro after raising fund thru a recent sale of my Sub. This SD comes in Full set mint condition. Lovin' it!

Wrist shot taken using BB under the morning sun in MBFC area.

IMO, BB works best for wrist shots, just to share

          • Thanks bro for your kind words. It is very mint for a 6y old watch (F-series). Owner sent it for full spa end 2010.
timekeeping is +/- 2 sec. Pressure test all ok. Ready to get wet!

Indeed, wearing the old style SD is like wearing a strong heritage and tradition never change; like being part of a fraternity

When i wore my Sub, the feelin not so intense. probably becos i always quietly admired the SD. Good that i get the SD first and hopefully can slowly save up for the rest (the Sub, Sub date...).

Wondering if there's any Rolex watch heavier?

I don't think there's anything heavier than the Deepsea

                        • This is interesting. Never thought of it.

                          Gold ceramic sub approx 219g
                          Deepsea approx 216g

I still say deepsea is heavier.

                          • is it because the deepsea is made of stainless steel, and the lump of stainless steel giving the impression that it is heavier than it actually is?

Should check out the new yachtmaster 2... if deepsea is the Monster, than yachtmaster 2 should rightly be called the Beast!

                                I agree with u too!
i think its cause the deepsea not only wears quite heavy, but also looks thick and heavy too.
Therefore, many have the impression that it's a heavy watch.
But then again, the information above kind of shocked me too, didnt know that actually the gold ceramic sub is heavier than DS by 3g!haha
