Rolex 44mm DSSD - Love it or Hate it?

Totally agree with Humara21. I love the DSSD as an engineering marvel, but upon trying it countless number of times at ADs, I know the REALITY that it does not match my physique. So I had to pass with a heavy heart (no pun intended).
On the other hand, a close friend of mine, a lady with very petite wrists, bought it at first look. After a few tries, she came face to face with reality that it doesn't match her physique. But she loves it, so she kept it as part of her growing collection of "Winder Wathes" (watches that become permanent residents on a huge watch winder cabinet, never again to be worn).
So indeed, beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Reality however, never really goes away.

In any case beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder. As a matter of fact when I wear a g shock its definitely much more comfy as compared to DSSD due to the weight of DSSD n it slips frequent on my wrist. Nope I don't even go swimming with my DSSD let alone diving or deep sea diving.
Sometimes you do not need to find a reason to justify your decision on why u like or even own it. OK if I have to, basically the solid weight of it, reputation for being the bad boy of Rolex and buying a piece of history of the technological advancement at the moment for the deepest depth a watch can withstand ( discounting Rolex Deep sea challenge)

thanks bro!...nice....gives it a very sporty look....very tempting indeed! Personally, I think rollies with steel bracelets are okay with typical office wear or even semi casual shirt/jeans or chinos...but this combo will go well with a truly weekend casual kind of look.

I have had the Deepsea for over two yrs. Amongst my several other Rolex subs, it is the best value for money.
But I replaced the SS strap with a high quality rubber. It balances extremely well now and feels very good.
It is a big watch but than some others are just as big. A lot owners do find the original clasp to be too small and I agree.
If you are looking for a very high performance diving sports watch,
the DeepSea is amongst the best value for money and actual all out performance.
