I started ard 2 yrs ago..went really into it last yr only and when SROC was created. I have 1 very special piece which is my DJ...it was this watch that got me really into Rolex and watches. It was passed down to me...I was very close to selling it but I decided not to sell it in the end.

Currently Have a Datejust,Tag F1,and Hamilton Khaki....Sometimes I do buy because of brands, unknown brands I dun really have much interest unless I really like it.

I don't really classify myself as a collector. I just like to own many watches, and it's getting really addictive...

The more you get, the more you want to read up and research, then you get more, and the cycle goes on. It has become some kind of indulgence

                      1) 2006 - first year at uni

                      2) sold my vintage Omega and it all started from there
                      3) none. i dont buy any particular watch to impress anyone, i buy them to impress myself, but you know people think that you are "rich" to own a rolex. and that you are a person with too much money to throw around

                      4) ad for brand new watches like when i bought my mom a watch. otherwise for myself, i prefer 2nd hand

                      5) personally i like 2nd hand, as the first owner kenna got the brunt of depreciation

                      6) No, but i do like those which can measure a 2nd time zone.

                      7) no. my reasons are same as #3

                      8) sure why not, but provided they have the right design/price and another thing i want is easy to flip. i dont want something that i will get stuck with. i prefer my assets to be relatively liquid

                            Tis' my experience:

                            1. Abt 15yrs ago. Only brands like casio, 25hours, swatch, bulova, Q&Q,
soviet titus. My most expensive watch, then, cost me $130. Total across all
brands, i owned abt 25 pcs.
                            2. Still hv half. Lost most of the othr half over gang fights.
                            3. Most r ok la, except 25hours. Cannot last long. Most only up to 10 yrs or
lesser. Beyond repair thereafter. Nw worship ROLEX! All othr brands r ok to
                            me.
                            4. AD for sure.
                            5. Brand new preferably.
                            6. Still exploring.
                            7. In te past, never. Nw, YES!
                            8. Yes, after much research.
                            9. ... I realised my childhood dream of owning a tagH late last yr. Tot it was
crazy to spend a 4-fig sum on a watch. Never regret though. Only hd to
pawn all my gold jewellery to buy te tagH.
                            10. ... Te addiction hit me so badly tat i went to borrow few mre thousands
n stole money to buy a ROLEX a mth after my tagH. Nw i'm looking for
another watch (preferably Panerai/ROLEX) to buy. Managed to steal some
gold pcs frm parents house. So can pawn for cash.
