Have decided to get a rolex for both my wife and myself. Was reading many of the posts but can only post in the non-garage thread and found this to be closest that can relate to my queries.

I'm intending to buy and wear daily (long term). Being a first timer, think it'll be best to buy from ADs.

As we will be travelling to Seoul, can i ask if it'll be cheaper(and better in terms of warranty) to buy from changi airport DFS, Incheon airport DFS (if there is selling rolex) or at our local ADs like THG & Cortina?

We are looking at the below models:
Me: rolex half-gold black ceramic submariner or rolex submariner date
Her: ladies datejust 26 (steel and yellow gold) or oyster perpetual datejust 31

Price i saw on the forums i think is around $10,xxx for each? But do correct me if i'm wrong.

Bro david u need luck to get submariner at airport,normally they display those datejust n simple models

Hmm... can i just clarify further.. as in submariner probably to get from ADs or grey seller (authentication recommended i assume?)
Wife's datejust we can try to get in airport?

I was just thinking if we're getting 2 watches at the ADs, maybe we can get a better price (and less hassle travelling around).
Or the best deal would be to buy both from grey sellers?

My mom always say, buy new one if not may get cheated. The only things she buy used are cars and houses. But this hobby is going to get very expensive.

As Grey Dealer,We have many Bro's Sgroc member is.
Nowaday,many ppl using cc installment 0% plan to get watch,very common.

For me, I used to think brand new is the way to go. But right now, I would prefer pre-owned as the first owner would absorb the depreciation instead
