ha ha.... sportee brings up "Customer service in Singapore" issue again... So ROLEX is a big name, big corp and their customer service level is also so so.... why? good question... but I must say their watchmakers are very efficient... on the other hand, AP ladies are very polite, no attitudes, but once you sent in a watch, you must wait and wait and those AP ladies there can only smile at you but can't tell you exactly when you can get back your watch....

pay so much yet consumers still need to tolerate the attitudes of those aunties who act as if they own the rolex company...

Understand that a number of Tech staff left the company, cos of low wages...don't know how true is it, for beginner the starting pay is only S$1000 or less and for experience tech their max pay is S$1800...currently there are only a hand full of old birds around and are unable to cope with the backlog, that's the reason why the waiting time is longer, and maybe because of this factor the repair cost is so much higher now.
Really hope this is not true....if it's they have to do something now before all the old experience uncles retired. By then, all watches that we sent in will have to be ship to Swiss for overhaul/repair/polish. Hence, the waiting time maybe 6 to 12 months time and cost could be more than S$2000 exclude parts....
Let's pray the above is not true

Earn buckets but pay out less than peanuts.
You probably earn more by working at McDonalds. WTF?
Employees and consumers at the losing end.
Was definitely shocked by the $900-$1k service charges mentioned at the start of this thread.
Do the service charges at RSC vary according to model?
How about charges for Submariner Date and Explorer? It is during our darkest moments that we must focus to see the light.
