    • gave up going to RSC Wet Market

since already verified at Top Hour $30 when i bought the watch, i took it for 2nd opinion at JW $53.50 to ascertain authenticity, no water intrusion, no corrosion inside, oil is ok and JW also did a pressure test so now i can swim with it.

        • If i send my watch(Sub ND) for regular service, what is the expected costs? Is there a "warranty" period after the service? Thanks in advance.

          • okay guys - i just got my new purchase a few days ago.

As proof of verification, i.e., that all parts are real, they give you a receipt bearing your name, the model number of your watch, as well as the price you paid for 'servicing'.

this is partially true - due to frankens, centers are beginning to verify that the case number tallies with geneva records and match the watch in front of the watchmaker. i assume over time these records will be fully computerized and linked (at least) to all RSCs and maybe even RASCs.

some high priced (and many lower priced) frankens have slipped through this verification system without such a process.

                      • newbie here...
what is included in the ~$780 or $1k+ servicing? and this a general across the board servicing fees?
for a car 10K, 40K.... service includes different items, can this concept apply to rolex (or rather general lux watch) servicing or just standard until a certain milage?
